Thank you
very much to everybody who has been kind enough to donate money
to help the dogs below, but sadly their rehabilitation is prolonged
and expensive and there will always be more like them.
If
you can spare any amount, please send a cheque made payable
to

BLUE
GIRL
This
poor girl came to us in a rather sorry state. She was
found roaming the streets, luckily picked up by a dog
warden but never claimed by her owners. She was on borrowed
time in local authority kennels on Merseyside. As they
are always very full they can only give dogs a week or
two. Her kennel maid told us she has a lovely temperament
and is very friendly. She has problems with her skin and
eyes, but nothing that can't be fixed with veterinary
care and plenty TLC. It would have been a tragedy for
her to lose her life just because her previous owner didn't
care. |
 |
| She
would have been put to sleep but for one of our lovely volunteers
driving all the way up from Southampton at short notice
to collect and then foster her. Within 24 hours she was
at the vets and can now see for the first time in a while.
She also has 4 cysts that will need removing and one rear
leg is badly dislocated and has been for some time, the
vet thinks by being kicked or stamped on when she was young. |

DONUT
This
poor dog has had numerous homes, often bought and sold
in pubs. He is now safe with one of our wonderful fosterers,
but he is not in good shape with skin, eye and ear infections
due to stress and neglect. He tends to pace round in small
circles due to whatever traumas he suffered in his previous
life. He will need expensive veterinary treatment before
he is ready for a new home.
We
get asked to help many dogs like Donut. If you'd like
to help us help them, please consider making a donation
to help with our costs of restoring the dogs to good health.

| UPDATE:
Donut is doing well. He no longer paces round and round
in endless small circles (we think due to being confined
in a tiny area in his previous life). Many thanks to both
his fosterer and Joy Bayliss for both assessing him and
donating products to help him. |
